Asi to začne nefunkčnosťou záloh, potom pátraním v Event Viewri kde je problém. Tu bude zrejme kopec chybových hlášiek.
Pokiaľ nájdete hlášku “The shadow copy of volume X: could not be created due to a failure in creating the necessary on disk structures” ani nepátrajte ďalej, a rovno CHKDSK (Stačí v read-only móde bez /F, či má význam ho púštať v ostrom režime po reboote).
Pokiaľ nie, aj tak sa usitite, že je disk v poriadku. Na internete nájdete hafo návodov, ako dať do poriadku hlášky typu ” VSS modul taký a taký is not registered”.
Riešit asi niečo nižšie ako W7/2008 nemá význam.
Začnite kontrolou – “vssadmin list writers” , kde na návrate musí byť minimálne “Microsoft Software Shadow Copy provider”.
Ďalej “vssadmin list writers” , s tým, že ich State má byť [1] Stable a nie [7] Failed.

Pokiaľ nič z toho nezaberie (reštart ste robili, hej ?), tak ešte môže byť niečo rozhasené v registroch.
Ja som s úspechom vyskúšal utilitku na opravu od Macrium-u. Urobí všetko vyšsie uvedené (okrem CHKDSK samozrejme).
